This panel is the first fully accurate reproduction of the early Volkswagen Beetle split-window outer skin ever manufactured as a single stamped piece. No weld seams, no handmade approximations, and no modified later panels. It is produced exactly the way Volkswagen did it in period: in 1mm automotive-grade steel, pressed in a dedicated die to achieve the correct curvature, vent layout, lip radius, and overall geometry.

Every contour has been referenced from original factory pieces to ensure the proportions and the “read” of the metal are identical to a genuine 1930s up to early 1953 car. The louvers have the correct spacing, depth, and angle; the oval openings follow the original symmetry; and the surface behaves under light the same way an original skin does.

This is not a cosmetic piece — it is a structural and visual match to the real panel.
