Shipping Damage & Insurance
DKB ships large sheet metal components that, due to their size and nature, may experience minor dents, bends, or surface imperfections during transit. This is inherent to the transportation of oversized metal parts and does not affect their structural integrity or suitability for installation. Such minor issues are common and can typically be corrected during the normal installation and fitting process.
Unless explicitly requested in writing prior to shipment, orders are shipped without insurance. By proceeding with an uninsured shipment, the customer accepts full responsibility for any damage incurred during transit. DKB is not liable for damage, loss, or claims arising from uninsured shipments.
If shipment insurance is required, the customer must contact DKB before the order is dispatched to arrange insured shipping at an additional cost.
