The inner skin is where most “split conversions” fail, because fabricators try to replicate complex stamped forms using welded sections and guesswork. This panel eliminates all of that. It is the world’s first true one-piece stamped reproduction of the early Beetle split-window inner structure, produced in 1mm steel exactly like the originals.

The panel recreate every reinforcement fold, window contour, and load-spreading shape found in factory split bodies. There are no welds, seams, or interruptions — the entire part is pressed in a single operation, preserving the rigidity and dimensional accuracy that handmade reproductions can’t match.

When installed, the structure aligns perfectly with the outer skin and sets the correct depth, angle, and window opening geometry. This ensures the finished car does not suffer from distortion, poor window fitment, or the “flat” look that plagues most conversions.
